Medicare Benefit Scheme:
Our mental health services, including online psychologists, may be eligible for a rebate from Medicare if you meet the necessary criteria. To determine if you qualify for this rebate, please consult a GP, paediatrician, or psychiatrist. Typically, up to 10 appointments are available per calendar year, with additional appointments available in specific circumstances, such as for bushfire-affected individuals or aged care residents. Rebates:
At Inner Psych, we understand that seeking mental health support can be a daunting process, and we strive to make it as accessible as possible for our clients. All of our highly qualified online psychologists have a Medicare provider number, which enables you to claim a rebate from Medicare for eligible services. You can use the invoice provided by us, and log on to the Medicare website, to easily claim your rebate, which will be deposited directly into your nominated bank account. Alternatively, we offer a convenient service where we can process the claim on your behalf using Power Diary, with the money appearing in your account within 2-5 business days. Insurance:
At our telehealth psychology practice, Inner Psych, we understand that taking care of your mental health is important. That’s why we offer telehealth psychology services with our experienced and qualified team of online psychologists. Many private health insurance plans provide coverage for mental health services, and we provide you with a tax receipt that contains all the necessary information to make a claim if you meet their eligibility criteria. Cancellation or Non Attendance:
At Inner Psych, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and you may need to cancel your telehealth psychologist appointment. We kindly request that you provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice if you are unable to attend your online therapy session. By doing so, we can offer the available time to someone else on our waitlist and help our online psychologists plan their day. In case you fail to provide sufficient notice, a $60 cancellation fee will apply. In the event of a no-show, the full cost of the session will be charged.
We value our clients’ time and want to ensure that we can offer our services to as many people as possible. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain our schedule. Please note that if our staff members notice a pattern of repeated cancellations or no-shows without adequate reasoning or evidence, the no show cancellation fee will apply.
